Can I fill the container to the top?
No, all materials must be inside the container with nothing protruding over the top. By law, we are required to tarp each load for transport. Heavy materials such as dirt, rock, concrete, brick, sod, and asphalt should not fill the container more than 2/3 full. The largest container we can use for heavy materials is 20 yards. Containers overfilled must be adjusted before pick-up. If we need to return, a return trip fee will be charged.

How long can I keep the container?
The rental price includes a period of up to 7 days. You can extend the rental period for an additional cost of $5 per day. Contact our office if you need to keep the container for additional days.

What can't I put in the dumpster?
By law, we cannot accept any toxic or hazardous waste, including:
- Wet paint
- Herbicides
- Pesticides
- Asbestos
- Chemicals
- Oil
- Tires
- Fuels
- Appliances with Freon

Will the container be picked up automatically?
No, you need to call us when the container is ready for pick-up. It is your responsibility to notify Smith's Wrecking and Roll-Off Container Services.

Can I move the container?
No, you may not move the container. We will place it in a convenient and safe location. Moving the container can cause damage to the underside, for which you will be responsible. As the renter, you are responsible for the contents of the container and any damage that occurs while it is on your site.
